CASE

Case Materials

Plastic
-Most common
-Cheapest
-Flexible
-Most of the cases made with it are described are cheap and typoing expirience is described as rattly
Aluminium
-Second most common material
-Heavier than Plastic
-Solid and Stable feel
-Second most durable
Acrylic
-Technically plastic but closer to glass in physical quality
-Lighter and more impact resistant than glass
-Best for rgb, because of see through aesthetic
-The least durable of all
Stainless Steel
-Second most uncommon material
-Higher priceing
-Heaviest of all materials
-Rust resistance
-Little to none bounce and rattle
-Stiff keypress feeling
-Most durable

Plate

Plate materials: Aluminium, Brass, Steel, Carbon Fiber, Polycarbonate
Every material has its own specific sound and sometimes even typing feel.

Pcb

Hot-swappable
-Possibility of swaping switches without disoldering and soldering
-Usually more expensive than normal (soldered) pcb

Normal (soldered)
-Cant swap switches without disoldering and soldering
-Usually less expensive than hot-swappable

Useful functions that can be found on both hot-swappable and normal pcb:
-Bluetooth
-Via support (Compatibility with Via program allowing to configure keyboard and map keys)
-RGB
-Possibility of split spacebar (2 keycaps for spacebar)
-Places for srew-in stabilizers
-South faceing switches (otherwise you cant use some keycaps profiles)

Stabilizers

Pcb mounted Screw-in
-not every pcb has place for them
-most consistent
-highest quality
If you have place on pcb for them dont buy any other

Pcb mounted normal
-Not as high quality as screw-ins
-not every pcb has place for them

Plate mounted
-Can be used on every keyboard, because doesnt need place on pcb
-Most popular ones
-Most of the times the cheapest one
-Best budget option

Switch Facing

North facing
-Better rgb shine through
-Interference with charry profile keycaps

South facing (The preferable ones)
-No interference
-Not as much rgb shine through as on north facing
